We are very pleased to advise that we have recently opened a new office in Young. We are also delighted to announce that Young local accounting superstar Nathan Robinson has joined us! We look forward to working with the businesses and families of Young and surrounding districts, providing you with great accounting, taxation and strategic advice.

Note to clients which have been dealing with Nathan at his previous employer

Nathan is legally restrained by his previous employer until 25 May 2019 from soliciting any clients that he dealt with in the three years immediately prior to him leaving that firm on 25 May 2018 or directly or indirectly providing services to such clients. If you are such a client, and you do wish to transfer your business to Halletts, we would love to assist you! However, we need to let you know that regrettably, Nathan is not able to be involved at all in your matters until after 25 May 2019.

We’re Here to Help!

We would like to assure you that our other staff members will provide you with the highest level of personal service, care and attention in the meantime, and we believe Nathan can commence working with you after 25 May 2019.   Please contact Ian Hallett directly on 02 6257 5712 or at ian@halletts if you would like to meet (your place or ours!).

Our very own Client Services Manager Kylie Allum was delighted to be part of a group of Canberrans having coffee yesterday morning with Prime Minister the Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP and Senator the Hon Zed Seselja about the upcoming income tax reduction package!

Superman would not be impressed – the ATO is reminding us all to declare our gains on Crypto-currencies.

It makes sense, as one of the many joys of being a resident of this wide brown land means if you make a gain, you need to share the spoils with your fellow Australians. Some of the gain will end up up, up and away. Melissa Browne explains how and why in this article in the Canberra Times.
