Do you pay your PAYG tax in instalments? The recent announcement from the ATO (more information here) of an increase in the GDP rate used to adjust your quarterly PAYG instalments for business and investment income from 4% to 6% will mean higher PAYG instalments next financial year. If you don’t believe your income will grow by 6% next year, you can apply to vary (reduce) the amount you have to pay, but be careful not to underestimate! If you’re unsure, please ask your friendly Halletts accountant to crunch the numbers for you. Remember, you don’t need to advise the ATO if your growth rate will be higher than 6%. Unsure if this applies to you or if you might need to start paying tax in instalments? We can help you work that out too!

Since our early beginnings Halletts has grown into a full service chartered accounting firm offering services in both Canberra and Goulburn.

Along with our growing, and changing business, we realised the need for a bold, fun new website to match! We’re very excited to launch our new website to offer you an insight into who Halletts is, our company ethos, our quirky and high experienced team, and what services we can offer your and your business!

About the photos

You’re probably wondering about the wacky photos across our website. The most important thing to Halletts is that we consider ourselves a partner in your business – your success is our success. We work closely alongside all our clients and will go the extra mile to see you accomplish your goals. Our photoshoot embodied this ethos by seeing our staff work alongside some of our real clients – from construction to dentistry and driving a truck. By experiencing first hand what you do every day we can better help you plan your business for the future!

We hope you enjoy your new website and look forward to working with you in 2018 and beyond.
