Kajal Mathur

Kajal completed a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and later a Masters in Criminology before taking a career detour and joining the Department of Revenue (GST) in India. After working seven years in indirect taxes (GST) she caught the bug to pursue accounting as a career path.

Kajal came to Australia in 2017 to pursue a Master of Management (Accounting) from the University of Melbourne and began working as a part-time tax accountant. In 2021 she moved to Canberra for a full-time role and fell in love with this city which she now calls home. Kajal joined Halletts in November 2024 and is currently in the last leg of her Chartered Accounting studies.

In her free time she enjoys long walks, movies/TV-series marathons and reading classic fiction.
